th ranked Chargers to their second victory of the Cruzin Classic, moving past Aquinas College 90-59 in Miami Gardens, Florida. BCU outscored the opposition 53-17 in the first half.

Kenna Mongan had the hot hand in the first half, scoring 19 points while knocking down five threes.
Grace Flanagan had 14 points in the first half and drilled four shots from downtown.

Briar Cliff in the first half were on fire from long-range, knocking down 11 threes and shooting 50% from beyond-the-arc.

Kennedy Benne added 14 points and recorded six assists and three steals.

BCU led wire-to-wire, building a 20-4 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Chargers held a 53-17 lead heading into half time. Briar Cliff's largest lead of the night was 39 late in the third quarter.

The Chargers knocked down 17 three-pointers in the contest, shooting 50% from downtown. BCU on defense forced 20 turnovers and held Aquinas to 38% shooting from the field.

BCU Improves to 11-2 on the season, and will return to action on January 2, to host the Lancers of Mount Marty inside the Newman Flanagan Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
