The Charger football team fell 35-7 to Dakota Wesleyan Saturday afternoon in Mitchell, South Dakota.

In the effort,
Luke Davies became the Charger's all-time leader in touchdowns, scoring his 38
th career touchdown on the afternoon.

Trailing 28-0 entering the third quarter, the Chargers got on the board, using a 13 play 75-yard drive capped off by a touchdown pass from Davies to
Cory Carignan.

Davies went 26-for-44 and threw for 213 yards and one touchdown. E'Mond Pittman rushed 16 times for 77 yards with a long of 20 yards on the afternoon.

Carignan hauled in a team high for nine catches for 98 yards, followed by Jaiden-Aavery Stowers who corralled four catches for 58 yards.

Carlos Lopez recorded four tackles and a tackle-for-loss in the contest.
Kyle Gibson finished with three tackles and had sack in the contest.

The Tigers rushed for 296 yards, led by Kobe Kayser's 146 yards on 10 carries.

Briar Cliff falls to 2-8 (2-7 GPAC) and will travel to Orange City, Iowa for the season finale against the 13
th ranked Red Raiders of Northwestern. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
