The Charger women's soccer team scored four first half goals and took a 5-1 victory against the Red Raiders of Northwestern Wednesday evening.
 
Leitcia Heemann scored 15 seconds into the math off an assist from Tamzin Hilton. Eyrun Vala Hardardottir followed up with a goal of her own off an assist from Emily Moran in the third minute to give The Cliff an early 2-0 lead.
 
Tia Lisy put the Chargers up 3-0 off an assist from Sinal Morl. Ellen Lofsjogard capped the scoring in the first half with a goal in the 34^th minute. Emily Moran scored her sixth goal of the season off an assist from Vala Hardardottir in the 60^th minute to put the match out of reach.
 
Jaime Rowlands in 90 minutes at goalie recorded five saves in the contest.
 
The Chargers were aggressive in the attacking side all match, recording 21 shots with 12 on target. They held a slight 6-4 advantage on penalty kicks.
 
BCU will return to action this Saturday, as they travel to Fremont, Nebraska to take on the Warriors of Midland. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
