The Charger women's soccer team took a 2-1 victory against the Bellevue Bruins Saturday afternoon.
Emily Moran scored in the 35
th minute of a free kick, but the Bruins quickly responded with a goal of their own in the 38
th minute.
Tia Lisy scored in the 56
th minute to put the Chargers up 2-1. The goal was set up by
Manu Polachini's corner kick.
Jaime Rowlands played all 90 minutes at keeper and recorded three saves. The Bruins held a slim shot advantage with nine shots in the match. They were also awarded five corner kicks in the match.
The Chargers return to action Wednesday as the host the Waldorf Warriors on senior day. Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm on Faber Field.
