The Charger women's soccer team extended their winning streak to four, taking down the Dordt Defenders 2-0 on Faber Field Wednesday afternoon.

The Chargers were aggressive in the attacking half, recording 26 shots with 12 on target and limited the Defenders to just nine shots all contest. Briar Cliff also held an advantage on corner kicks 12-4 in the match.

Jaime Rowlands spent all 90 minutes at keeper, recording a clean sheet with six saves in the contest.

The Chargers created chances early in the match, but Leitcia Heeman's first shot hit the cross bar and quickly fired another shot that missed right. In the fourth minute, Heeman sent a through ball to
Addison Frisch who fired a strike to put the Chargers 1-0 early.
