A decision win by senior
Christian Balmer lifted the Chargers 24-23 against Dakota Wesleyan Tuesday Evening inside the Newman Flanagan Center on senior night. The scored after the dual was tied 23-23, and the Chargers won via Criteria. The Cliff honored their four seniors before the contest.

Rigal opened the scoring for the Chargers with a pin over Kipp Cordes in the 125-pound bout to put the Chargers up 6-0 to start the dual.
Senior
CaRon Watson followed up with a 19-3 tech-fall over Temuujin Natsagdorj to add five points on the board for the Cliff.
The Tigers would not back down, taking the 141-pound bout of the Cliff's
Juan Lugo.
Ethan Krey responded in the 149-pound bout with a narrow 14-11 decision victory to make the dual score 14-6 in favor of the Chargers.
DWU would take the next three weight classes and the Chargers trailed 20-14 heading into the back end of the dual. At 184-bout,
Ethan Gregg received a forfeit which died the dual 20-20.
With the tide of the dual riding at the 197-pound bout, Balmer was able to secure a 7-1 decision victory to put Briar Cliff ahead 23-20 heading into the final match.
Alton Allen in the final match fell in a hard-fought match that was decided by a tiebreaker. The Tigers evened the score 23-23, but after deliberation, the Chargers earned the dual win via criteria.
The Chargers improve to 4-1 in GPAC Duals on the season, we will compete in three duals this Saturday at the Long Lines Rec Center in Sioux City, Iowa. At 12:30 p.m., the Chargers will take on the Bulldogs of Concordia. At 3:30 p.m. the Chargers will take on the Broncos of Hastings. At 5 p.m., the Chargers will take on the Mustangs of Morningside.
