Second half struggles were too much to overcome Wednesday as the Briar Cliff men's basketball team fell to Concordia 56-85 in Seward, Nebraska.
"I love the way we battled in the first half after finding ourselves in a deficit," said head coach

After the Bulldogs built a 22-7 lead through the first 10 minutes of play, the Charger offense rallied around nine straight points from
Conner Groves. Briar Cliff put together a 21-2 run over the next six minutes to take a 28-24 lead. The two teams would head to the halftime intermission tied at 30.
