The Charger men's soccer team's historic season came to an end Saturday afternoon, falling to Grace college 5-0 in the NAIA National Tournament.

"We've had an unforgettable season, but we met our match today. Grace are a top quality side and they showed it," said Head Coach Teren Schuster. "We have so much to be proud of as a group this year. From last season winning 5 games, to this season winning 14 and winning a national tournament game is something special. We'll use this season to build for next year. We'll be back!"

The Lancers got off to a quick start in the first half, recording three first half goals. Grace college added two more goals in the final 20 minutes of the contest.

Andrew Buchanan recorded three shots with one on goal. Hugo Mariage, Nicolas Karlsen, and Jasper van der Molen all recorded one shot in the contest.

The Chargers finished the 2023 season with a 14-3-3 (9-0-2 GPAC) record. The Chargers earned their first regular season GPAC title in program history, along with the first undefeated conference record in program history.
