The Charger volleyball team fell in straight sets to RV Morningside Saturday evening (25-20, 25-13, 25-21) on senior day. "Tonight's match was the story of the season," said Head Coach
Lindsey Weatherford. "It was hard for us to get going and score points."

The Chargers trailed the Mustangs 16-12 in the first set following a
Toria Andre kill. BCU was unable to find momentum, dropping the set 25-20.

In set two, Morningside jumped out to a 12-2 lead. The Mustangs took set two 25-13 capped off by kills from Aleksandra Dalach and a block from Payten Lode and Nienke van Drunen.

In the final set, the Chargers were within one of the Mustangs, trailing 22-21.
Kailee Tucker recorded a kill, followed by blocks from
Reese Strouth and Andre put the Chargers within striking distance. Morningside closed the game out 25-21 following two kills from Sydney Marlow.

Andre led the Cliff in kills with eight, followed by
Makynna Snow and
Taryn Nothem who recorded six and five respectively. Andre also recorded five blocks in the contest.
Yenne Schepers recorded 16 assists followed by
Olivia Corey's 10.

The Chargers will return to the Newman Flanagan Center Tuesday night to take on Northwestern in the GPAC regular-season finale. The first serve is designated for 7:30 p.m.
