The Briar Cliff football team put up a season high 41 points in Saturday's win over Jamestown.
Aaron Okoro and
Tim Brown led the charge on offense, combining for over 250 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
"What a game! So proud of the way our guys competed today," said head coach
Shane LaDage. "Our offense found a way to make plays when they mattered most and our defense did a great job creating turnovers. Total team win!"
Trailing 7-0 just two minutes into the game, the Charger offense went three-and-out and were forced to punt.

Mike Green forced and recovered a Jimmie fumble. With the ball on the Jamestown 44 yard line,
Andres Perez took a QB rush to the endzone, but the Chargers would miss the extra point.
Luke Davies found Brown for a 28 yard completion to open the second quarter, putting them on the one-yard line. On the next play
Stanton Lee found the end zone and the Cliff trailed 12-14. With just under a minute left in the half, Jamestown converted a 22 yard field goal to take a 17-12 advantage into half.
On their first possession in the second half, the Charger offense marched 80 yards on 14 plays to take a 20-17 lead. Davies completed 8-of-11 passes on the drive. His favorite target on the drive was Brown who had four catches for 48 yards, including the four yard touchdown reception. Davies connected with a wide open
Seth Maxey for the two-point conversion.
After a Jamestown score to retake the lead, Davies found Okoro just before the end of the third on a 44 yard completion to set the Cliff up just outside the redzone.
Stanton Lee found the endzone for the second time, running it in from the 17 yard line.
The final six minutes of the contest saw 28 total points and four lead changes between the two teams. The Jimmies scored in just over a minute to take a 31-27 lead, but the Cliff responded with a seven play 75 yard drive to go up by three points. The scoring drive showcased Okoro's abilities, as he hauled in five catches for 71 yards and the touchdown.
Cade Torgerson led the Jimmies to another quick score, this time in 1:05 as they took a 38-34 advantage.
With a minute and a half left, trailing by four, Spencer Slyvester George setup the Blue and Gold with a 58 yard kickoff return to the Jamestown 34. Davies connected with Brown for a 30 yard strike and followed it up with a four yard completion to Okoro in the corner of the endzone to ice the 41-38 Charger victory.
Davies completed 23 of 36 pass attempts for 330 yards and three touchdowns. He completed passes to five different Chargers.
Stanton Lee rushed 19 times for 36 yards and had two touchdowns.
Okoro racked up 145 yards on 10 catches to go with two touchdowns. Brown added 127 yards on eight catches and had one touchdown.
Brett Tinker and Green each had a game high eight total tackles. Green had six solo tackles and a fumble recovery.
Brayden Pommier-Williams and
Christian Balmer added seven tackles apiece, and Balmer had .5 tackles for a loss.
Briar Cliff's offense went a perfect 5-for-5 on redzone opportunities. The defense and special teams unit combined to force four turnovers, one interception and three fumble recoveries.
Briar Cliff returns to Memorial Field next Saturday for a 1 p.m. kick-off against Dakota Wesleyan.
