Jack Moehrke was named the first head coach of Briar Cliff’s eSports program in 2021, leading the Chargers into a new era of competitive gaming.
Moehrke brings both collegiate and amateur coaching experience to The Cliff. He previously served as an eSports coach at Marian University in Indianapolis, Indiana and is the current owner and operator of Meme City Esports, where he has overseen multiple teams across various game titles. Under his leadership, Meme City has managed between three and five competitive squads at a time, developing players and building strong team infrastructure.
A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Moehrke holds a Bachelor of Communicating Arts in Interactive Media. His expertise aligns with Briar Cliff’s launch of League of Legends as its first official eSports title, marking the university’s entry into intercollegiate competition.
