Briar Cliff University

Anesa Davenport serves as the Sports Information graduate assistant at Briar Cliff University.

Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Davenport is a graduate of Bishop Heelan Catholic High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Briar Cliff University in 2025 in Human Performance and Management. She was a member of the Charger volleyball program and also served as the university’s Student Body Vice President.

Davenport brings national championship experience in athletic communications, having worked two NAIA National Championships as a sports information intern in 2024 and 2025. She will serve as the media coordinator for the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Championship in 2026. 

She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Briar Cliff University. Davenport is the youngest of seven siblings and the daughter of Elisa and Tim Davenport.
