Briar Cliff University

Tyler Baughman has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at Briar Cliff for the 2011-2012 season.

"Tyler is an exceptional student athlete and a terrific kid. The quality of our program was elevated the moment he came on board," said head coach Joe Privitere.

Baughman was a seven-time letterwinner for the Lions of Lansing High School (four in wrestling and three in football)...Kaw Valley League Champion, Regional champion, Kansas freestyle & Greco champion freshman and sophomore years and runner-up junior year...Brute ADIDAS National Champion for two years...all-league honorable mention football defensive end.

Aside from athletics, Baughmen was on the honor roll. The son of Tom and Nancy Baughman plans to major in chemistry.
