Ernesto Hidalgo was introduced as the head women’s soccer coach prior to the 2025 season.
Hidalgo arrives at The Cliff after serving as an assistant coach at the University of California, Riverside, where he contributed to training session development, match strategy, and opponent scouting for the Highlanders. Prior to his time at UC Riverside, he spent three seasons as an assistant coach at San Diego Christian College and gained head coaching experience with FC Premier for two years. Hidalgo also served as an assistant coach at Fullerton College.
A native of Long Beach, California, Hidalgo brings wealth of coaching experience across the collegiate and club levels, with a strong emphasis on player development, mentorship, and relationship building.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the University of Arizona Global.
