2014: Played in all 40 games for the Chargers during her senior season with 40 starts at second base and was the leadoff batter in every game...was an All-GPAC Honorable Mention selection...paced the team in multiple hit games with 13 with 10 two-hit games and three three-hit games...was third in the lineup with a batting average of .292, notching 42 hits in a team leading 144 at bats...had five doubles, two triples and one homerun with 15 RBI and led the team in runs scored with 31...had a team high five stolen bases going a perfect 5-5 in steal attempts...recorded a fielding percentage of .963 with 107 assists on 125 putouts while committing nine errors.
2013: In her first year with the program she started 30 games... had 105 at bats with 40 hits, 15 RBI's, and 20 runs scored... had a batting average of .381 and slugging percentage of .467.
Before BCU: Sosa played two seasons at El Paso Community College before transfering to play for the Chargers...in 58 games played at El Paso CC, Sosa recorded 51 hits in 180 at bats for a batting average of .283 with six doubles, one triple, 17 RBI's and 24 runs scored...in the field, she recorded 94 put outs and 101 assists with 21 errors for a fielding percentage of .903.
HS: Three-time softball letter winner for the Highlanders of Bel Air HS...sophomore HM all-district second baseman...junior second-team all-district second baseman...senior first-team all-district, all-city, and Top 20 player to watch in 2009.
PERSONAL: The daughter of Armando and Norma Sosa... is majoring in elementary education...earliest sports memory was playing co-ed tee-ball and being tougher than all the boys...hates milk...favortie TV shows are The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Vampire Diaries.
