2011-12 Men's Indoor Track and Field
Biography
David Braun of Topeka, KS has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at Briar Cliff for the 2011-2012 season.
"Dave is a good kid and a fine student athlete. He is a very driven young man which will help him transition to this level," states head coach Joe Privetere.
Braun was a seven-time letterwinner for the Trojans of Topeka High School (four in wrestling and three in track). The state qualifier in wrestling was also a member of the all-state academic wrestling team and received honorable mention all-city in both wrestling and track.
Aside from athletics, Braun was a member of the honor roll, band, jazz band, and student government. The son of John Braun and Candie Kolbeck plans on studying political science at Briar Cliff.
