Assistant Coach

Pearson is in his 11th year as an assistant with the Briar Cliff track program. He also served as an assistant coach for the BCU football program for two years.

Pearson, a 1992 graduate of Morningside, was a track all-American for the Chiefs. He still holds several school records including the indoor and outdoor 200m. Pearson ran a 22.0 in the indoor 200 and 21.0 outdoors. He also holds the indoor 300m record and a share of the school's 4x400m indoor mark.

Aside from coaching at Briar Cliff, Peason is a juvenille court officer for the third judicial district. He has worked in the judicial system for numerous years.
