Briar Cliff University

Yan Rosado serves as the associate head coach and goalkeeper coach for the Briar Cliff men’s soccer program.

In his role, Rosado assists with the daily operations of the program, including training sessions, match preparation, recruiting, and the development of student-athletes. He brings a diverse background in coaching and player development, including training through the FC Barça Academy methodology, as well as experience in scouting and video analysis to support player evaluation and tactical preparation.

Before transitioning into coaching, Rosado competed as a professional goalkeeper and played across multiple competitive levels in the United States, including the NCAA, NAIA, NPSL, and USL.

Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Rosado is currently pursuing his master’s degree in leadership and sports management at Briar Cliff University and is expected to graduate in May 2026.
