Coach Wilcox finished his second season as head coach of the Briar Cliff men's soccer team with an 11-7-2 overall record and 7-3-1 conference mark. The team finished third in the GPAC regular season, the highest place since joining the league in 2002. Eight men's soccer players were named all-conference in 2018, with Jake Dube headlining the group with a first team selection. Prichard Sibanda and Rodrigo Oliveira were named to the second team and Luis Paulo Sartor, Alan Araiza, Joao Pedro Lima, Mattia Pace and Javier Valle were deemed honorable mention.
The 2017 season was Wilcox's first season at the Cliff, and his Chargers went 11-6-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the GPAC during his first season to finish sixth in the conference. He had five players named all-conference, led by Prichard Sibanda being named first team and scoring a school record 26 goals. Wilcox had the offense humming as BC outscored the opposition 63-26, had a 47-22 edge in assists and a 173-74 advantage in total points. His keepers notched 87 saves and had a goals allowed average of 1.4.
Wilcox came to Briar Cliff for the 2017 season from Midland where he has served as the assistant coach since 2014. He helped guide the Warriors to a 43-16-4 overall record in three seasons and also served as the advisor for academic progress throughout the year. Wilcox coached an all-conference and national player of the week goalkeeper as a freshman and also helped one of his goalies become a NAIA All-American. He helped Midland reach its first-ever final site appearance in the NAIA 2016 national tournament. Wilcox also directed all Midland soccer camps and managed all equipment for Warrior soccer. He also served as the primary recruiter for international and domestic players. Wilcox developed overall session plans for team practice and ran the goalkeeper sessions for each practice.
Wilcox has also been with Sporting Omaha FC since March 2016 where he ran goalkeeping sessions for boys and girls of all ages and developed and edited club goalkeeping curriculum. He also served as the head coach of Blair FC for U14 boys from July 2015-March 2016. With Blair FC, Wilcox was tasked with preparing players for weekly competitive games and assisted with recruiting coaches to the club.
Collegiately, Wilcox played at Midland where he was a team captain from 2011-14. He was selected All-GPAC, All-Nebraska and All-Region. Wilcox helped the Warriors win the GPAC Championship in 2013 as he logged the most shutouts in the nation that year and also set the school record for shutouts in a season. Wilcox also played professionally for the Las Vegas Mobsters and the Ely Rangers AFC.
