Briar Cliff University

Brandon Burgad is in his seventh season as an assistant with the Briar Cliff men's soccer program.  He was a four-year starter and a two-time first team all-section selection for the Chargers. He still holds the school record for most game-winning goals in a single season. Following his career at the Cliff, Burgad played one season with the Sioux City Breeze in the PDL.  The 2000 BC graduate moved to Scottsdale, Arizona for a short time, working as a personal trainer, strength coach and club soccer coach.   The certified independent personal trainer is currently the strength coach at East High through the CNOS Foundation and runs his own personal training company (Core Essentials) in Sioux City and also coaches within the youth soccer program in Siouxland.  Burgad resides in Sioux City with his wife Melissa and three children (Bryley, Avery and Baelyn).
