Biography

 

2010-11: In third year with the Briar Cliff basketball program 

2009-10: Smeader averaged 4.4 ppg, nailed 21 from behind the arc, and recorded 15 steals for the Blue and Gold. Smeader was 40% from the field and 77% from the line.  

2008-09: Smeader averaged 4.9 ppg, buried 20 threes and totaled 17 steals. Smeader shot 84% from the line and 47% from the field.  

 

HS: Smeader was a three-time letter winner for the Hawks of Ankeny. He was a two time 1st team All-Conference selection, and was dubbed to the 1st team All-CIML League team his senior year. Smeader was 3rd team All-State and aided in leading his team to the Iowa State Basketball Tournament. Smeader was also chosen as a honorary team captain.

 

PERSONAL: Son of Gerry and Lourdes Smeader...majoring in Education.
