Biography

2016: Played in four games for the Chargers as a sophomore...pitched 2.1 innings with two strikeouts and allowed four hits.

2015: Appeared in six games as a pitcher during freshman season...pitched 9.2 innings with five strikeouts and eight walks...allowed 19 hits and 18 runs (17 earned). 

HS: A four-time letterwinner for the Yellow Jackets of Blue Ridge High School (three in baseball and one in football)... As a senior, he was first team all- section, athletic scholar, MVP, and team captain... He was also involved working with Special Olympics and was a member of the honor roll. 

Personal: Son of Edwin Horak Jr. and Brandi Ries... Sports Science Major.
