Played in nine games for Briar Cliff...went 1-2 in the pitcher's circle...season canceled by the NAIA due to COVID-19 pandemic.

2019
Appeared in 23 games for BC, making 21 appearances in the pitching circle... started 12 games at pitcher, earning one victory with a 4.40 ERA... struck out 37 hitters in 68.1 innings of work... batted .200 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs.

2018
Played in 26 games with eight starts (five pitching starts)...hit .160 on the year with four hits in 25 at bats...had one homer, three RBI and two runs scored...pitched 59.1 innings with 33 strikeouts and 40 walks...had a season-high seven strikeouts against Ottawa. 

High School
Shiley was a four-time letterwinner in softball for the Rebels of Sioux Center. As a senior, Shiley earned all-district 2A honors while also being named second team all-conference and third team all-state. She was also all-district 2A as a junior and was named second team all-conference that season as well.

Lanae is the daughter of Timothy and Lisa Shiley and is majoring in kinesiology.
