2019-20: Was the only player to start all 30 games for the Chargers in his third year on the squad...scored 301 points and grabbed 139 rebounds...earned honorable mention all-GPAC honors...was a finalist for Briar Cliff's Breakthrough Athlete of the Year.

2018-19: Played in 30 games for the Blue and Gold as a sophomore...scored 176 points to go with 78 rebounds, 17 assists and four steals.

2017-18: Appeared in all 34 games for BC in his freshman season...Scored 157 points to go with 63 rebounds, nine assists and seven steals.

HS: Roetman scored 515 points as a senior, netting 23.4 ppg. He shot 52.7 percent from the field on 194-368 shooting. Roetman secured 260 rebounds with 211 defensive and 49 offensive for 11.8 rpg. He also dished out 43 assists to go with 13 steals and 61 blocks. For these efforts, Roetman was named first team all-conference, second team Iowa Newspaper Association All-State, He was first team Storm Lake Times and led his team to the Twin Lakes Conference Championship as a team captain. He was also named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches' Association All-Star game.He averaged 16.9 ppg, 9.3 rpg and two blocks per game as a junior. Roetman was first team all-conference as a sophomore and junior and was second team all-conference as a freshman. He scored 15.1 ppg and had 8.5 rpg as a sophomore and notched 15.5 ppg and 8.8 rpg as a freshman. Roetman finished his career as the Pocahontas Area boys basketball career leader in points (1590), rebounds (862), blocks (148), threes made (91), free throws made (289), points in a season (515), points in a game (39), rebounds in a season (260) and rebounds in a game (19). He started all 90 games of his high school career in which PAC won 64 of those games.

Personal: Austin is the son of James and Julie Roetman and is majoring in entrepreneurship and small business management.
