Angelina Saade of the Briar Cliff women's soccer team has been named the Week 9: GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Offensive Player of the Week following her record-breaking performances against Waldorf and Doane.

Saade, a junior forward from Beirut, Lebanon, scored in both of the Chargers' victories this past week, including a historic seven-goal performance against Waldorf.

Throughout the week, Saade recorded eight goals and two assists. She scored seven of Briar Cliff's goals in the 10-1 victory over Waldorf on Oct. 21, breaking the school record for most goals in a single game. She followed up that performance with the game winning goal in the Chargers' 1-0 win over Doane on Oct. 24, helping Briar Cliff secure a pair of dominant victories.

The Chargers return back to action on Wednesday October 28, taking on the Dakota Wesleyan Tigers.
