Aubrey Hoeft of the Charger women's volleyball team has been named the Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront Briar Cliff Athlete of the Week following an impressive performance against two nationally ranked opponents, No. 21 Dordt and No. 24 Dakota Wesleyan.

Hoeft played a key role at the net for the Chargers, recording 17 total blocks across the two matches against top-25 competition.

The junior middle blocker averaged 2.43 blocks per set over the two-match stretch, consistently disrupting opposing offenses and providing a strong defensive presence for Briar Cliff. Hoeft now has 121 total blocks on the season and currently leads the GPAC in blocks per set, establishing herself as one of the conference's top defensive players.

The Chargers return to action Wednesday, October 21, hosting Waldorf for a pink out game. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m.
