The Charger men's basketball team returned to the win column Saturday afternoon, defeating the Doane Tigers 80-72 in Crete, Nebraska.

Jaxson Winger paved the way with a 23-point nine rebound performance while shooting 10-for-17 from the floor.
Blake Sindelar recorded 18 points, seven rebounds, and dished out five assists.

The Chargers led 39–33 at the break before scoring 41 points in the second half to maintain control down the stretch. Sindelar in the first half had the hot hand, recording 10 points while going three-for-four from the field.

The Cliff in the first half were efficient on offense, converting on 50% from the field. They finished the contest shooting 52% as a team.

Colby Collison added 13 points and collected seven rebounds while going eight-for-10 from the free throw line.
Wil Lugar finished with 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds while shooting 50% from the field.

The Chargers improved to 8-7 (5-3 GPAC) and will play an exhibition contest against the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Monday. They will return to GPAC play this Wednesday, as they host the Midland Warriors. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45 p.m.
