The Charger women's soccer team fell in their GPAC opener to the Doane Tigers 1-0 on Faber Field Saturday afternoon.

Farrah Thompson's shot was turned away by the Tigers.

Sadie Jones fired a shot from outside the box, but the Tigers' Virgina Johnson made the save.

Thompson paced the Chargers in shot with two.
Emma Blomberg recorded a shot.
Caitlin Anderholm recorded four saves in the match.

The Chargers fall to 2-5 (0-1-0 GPAC) and will travel to cross-town rival Morningside next Wednesday. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
