The Charger wrestling went 1-1 in the second GPAC Duals held in Mitchell, South Dakota. Briar Cliff fell 41-6 against Concordia to begin the day before defeating Hastings 33-18 later in the afternoon.

"Though the day started a little rough versus Concordia, I was encouraged with the way we bounced back against Hastings," said Head Coach
Donaco Watts. "Even in the matches we dropped, the effort and intensity level was markedly improved. Hopefully this will allow us to head into the GPAC Tournament with a little momentum."

Jarrod Gilliam earned a pin over Concordia's Bryce Karlin to open the dual at 133. The Bulldogs would take the next eight matches to secure the victory.

Against the Broncos, Daruiz Black took a 1-0 decision to open the dual.
Ayden Kelley and
Evan Fuchs followed Black's victory with pins to increase the Charger lead.

Jackson Balmer and
Ethan Gregg also won via pin to help secure the dual victory for the Chargers.

The Chargers will prepare for the GPAC tournament next Friday and Saturday in Hastings, Nebraska.
