The Charger men's basketball team returned to action Tuesday afternoon, falling to the RV Bethel Threshers 76-61 in North Newton, Kansas.

Jaxson Wingert led all scorers in the contest with 26 points on an efficient nine-for-11 shooting from the field and seven-for-10 from the free throw line.
Blake Sindelar added 14 points and led the team in rebounds and assists with six each. Sindlear also notched two steals.
Dawson Mohr chipped in nine points off the bench.

The Cliff converted on 50% on their shot attempts from the floor but struggled from deep, going three-for-14 from beyond-the-arc.

The Threshers were paced by Dominick Harris' 17 points, seven assists, and five steals. Trenton Patterson off the bench added 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench.

Bethel scored 22 points off turnovers and received a big boost from their bench as they contributed 27 points.

Briar Cliff falls to 7-7 (4-3 GPAC) and will hit the road this Saturday to take on the Doane Tigers in Crete, Nebraska. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:45 p.m.
