The 8
th ranked Charger women's basketball team fell to the top-ranked Dordt Defenders 77-65 inside the Newman Flanagan Center Wednesday evening.

After a back-and-forth first half, the Defenders built a 10-point lead with 7:55 remaining in the third. Dordt extended their lead to 17 points late in the third quarter.

Abby Lee led the Chargers in scoring in 17 points and knocked down three triples in the contest. Lee also recorded six rebounds, five steals, and three blocks.
Brooklyn Heineman added 15 points while shooting 50% from the floor and going three-for-three at the three.

Mallie McNair added 13 points and went four-for-four from the free throw line.
Taylor Sodeman added eight points while
Kenna Mongan chipped in six points.

The Chargers slide to 9-2 (3-2 GPAC) and will travel to Yankton, South Dakota Saturday to take on the Mount Marty Lancers. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m.
