Charger Athletics has announced the hiring of Dylan Elsworth as the Head Men's and Women's Bowling Coach.

"Dylan brings both coaching experience and a deep commitment to supporting scholar-athletes, which aligns perfectly with our vision for holistic student development," said Dr. Matthew Draud, President of Briar Cliff University. "His enthusiasm for building team culture and providing mentorship will have a lasting impact on our bowling program and our campus community."

Elsworth spent two seasons as the Head Bowling Coach and Academic Advisor at Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Kentucky from 2022-2024. During the 2023-2024 season, four student-athletes from the men's team and three on the women's team earned All-Conference.

Elsworth also spent time as an assistant coach at the club level for Ball State University and an assistant coach at Alexandria Monroe High School. He also served as the event coordinator and social media manager at Dragon's Hoard Coin and Gaming.

Elsworth comes from a long line of bowlers in the state of Indiana and competed collegiately at Urbana University and Ball State University. He earned his bachelor's degree from Thomas More University in 2023, with an emphasis in writing and ethical leadership.
