The Charger wrestling team won 37-15 against GPAC foe Waldorf Warriors in Forest City, Iowa Wednesday evening.
"I was pleased with our effort tonight, but I'm still focused on the small details that make the difference between getting on the podium and not even qualifying for the National Tournament," said Head Coach Donaco Watts. "We are heading in the right direction as a program. This, I am sure of."

The Chargers got off to an early start, as
Dante Rigal won the 125-pound bout over Malachi Aispuro by pin fall.
Jarrod Gilliam took a 15-0 technical fall win in the next bout over Ikuhaiakalani Akina.

The Warriors took the 141-pound bout and the 149-pound bout to trail the Chargers 11-9.

Brandon Harris in the following match earned a major decision victory 14-4 over Dalton Thorson.
Jackson Balmer earned by way of pin over Daven Hames shortly after.

Erik Lessears added four more points to the Charger lead after taking a 26-15 major decision victory over Jackson Prescott.

The Warriors took the 184-pound match before leaving the final two weight classes open.

Briar Cliff moves to 2-6 (2-3 GPAC) in duals and will return to action this Saturday to compete in the Red Raider Duals in Orange City, Iowa. Matches begin at 3 p.m.
