The Charger wrestling team returned to action, competing in the Missouri Valley Invite this past weekend. The Chargers competed in the two-day event in Marshall, Missouri.
 
Dante Rigal opened up his tournament run with a pin over Trevor Hisey, but fell to a decision against Kobi Johnson. Rigal would earn to more victories by pin fall before bowing out of the tournament.
 
Dariuz Black in the consolation bracket earned a pin fall victory, but bowed out of the tournament after dropping a 9-5 decision in his next match.
 
Jarrod Gilliam earned two byes before earning a major decision victory over Aslan Nadeau 17-7.
 
After dropping his first bout, Erik Lessears earned a pin followed by a decision victory.
 
The Charger wrestling team will return to action this upcoming Wednesday, as they travel to take on GPAC foe Waldorf Warriors this Wednesday. First match is slated for 6 p.m.
