The Charger wrestling team fell 33-10 against GPAC foe Dakota Wesleyan Tigers Tuesday evening in Mitchell, South Dakota.
 
"At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I felt that our effort overall (as far as wrestling hard is concerned) was adequate," said Head Coach Donaco Watts. "We knew that going into this dual with four starters out of the lineup was going to make it a tall task, but not an impossible one. We arguably should've won 4-5 out of 10 instead of just two. Now we have a couple days to refocus and get ready for Northwestern on Friday evening."
 
Tyler Fouts in the opening 149-bout looked to give the Chargers momentum, earning a technical fall victory over Zach Kolbe 17-2.
 
Evan Fuchs won via tech fall in at the 133-bout over the Tigers Will Faren.
 
Daruiz Black dropped a close match up at 141, dropping a 7-6 decision to Zach Zitek.
 
The Chargers will return to action this Friday, as they host the Northwestern Red Raiders inside the Newman Flanagan Center. The dual is slated for 6 p.m.
