The Charger men's golf team put together a strong performance in round one of the Blue River Classic, sitting in eighth overall with a team score of +21 (+13, +8)  after 36-holes of golf. The meet is played at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Nebraska.
 
Karter Lein paces the Chargers after recording a +2 in round one and a -3 in round two. Lein sits 11^th overall in the meet.
 
Joris Scharli recorded a +2 in round one and a -1 scored card in round two and is tied for 16^th overall.
 
Gregorio Fernandez recorded a +2 in both rounds and sits tied for 25^th.
 
The Chargers will return to action tomorrow for day two of the Blue River Classic.
