Charger men's soccer tied against the Bulldogs of Concordia 1-1 Saturday evening in Seward, Nebraska.
 
CUNE's D'Andre Williams got the Bulldogs on the board early with a quick strike goal in the 21^st minute of the match.
 
Briar Cliff early in the second half found the back of the net in the 50^th minute, as Yalin Alici scored off an assist from Hugo Mirage.
 
Filip Peters led the team with three shots in the contest followed by Herman Toftevag's two shots. Phillip Haenel recorded three saves at keeper for Briar Cliff. Briar Cliff held a slim advantage in corner kicks (4-3).
 
The Chargers will return to action next Saturday at 2:30 p.m., as they host the Lancers of Mount Marty for Homecoming.
