Briar Cliff Moves Up

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Briar Cliff University women's golf team finished the Siouxland Invite.

The tournament was played at Landsmere Golf Club, a Par-71.

Doane shot +48 (308-312) to win by five strokes over #25 Morningside (315-310). Rounding out the top five were Briar Cliff (3^rd – 333-332, +93), Northwestern (Iowa) (4^th – 328-339, +95) and Mount Marty (5^th – 344-326, +98).

Individually, Connie Jarm (Doane) and Sydney Streeter (Doane) tied for first at +9.

Freshman Lucy Carter tied for 12^th at +19 (81-81 =162). She led the team with five birdies.

Senior Kelly Baade tied for 16^th at +23 (84-82 =166). She led the team with 17 pars.

Senior Helene Getz Bergmo tied for 21^st at +25 (79-89 =168). She led the team with 17 pars.

Sophomore Emma Erickson tied for 23^rd at +26 (89-80 =169).

Sophomore Olivia Sorlie was 45^th at +48 (90-101 =191).

Competing as an individual;
Senior Sophia Johnson was 50^th at +54 (94-103 =197).

Briar Cliff will be at the Lila Frommelt Fall Classic, Wednesday-Thursday, Oct. 2-3.
