Chargers Close Out Road Tournament

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – The Briar Cliff University men's golf team the Bent Tree Intercollegiate Showcase.

The tournament was played at Bent Tree Golf Club, a Par-72.

Hutchinson CC shot -12 (280-283-289) to win by 21 strokes over Nebraska Wesleyan (+9 / 292-288-293). Rounding out the top five was Iowa Western CC (3^rd - +21/ 293-294-298), Northeast CC (Neb.) (4^th / +34 (296-299-303) and Iowa Central CC (5^th - +47 / 302-305-304).

Briar Cliff was seventh at +73 (311-307-319). The Chargers 'B' squad finished 10^th at +136 (343-330-327)

Individually, Jack Northgraves (Hutchinson CC) shot -8 (66-70-72) to win by five strokes over Charlie Box (Hutchinson CC) and David Razinskas (Hutchinson CC).

Junior Thavichakree Arunmala tied for 26^th at +13 (77-73-79 =229).

Senior Gregorio Fernandez tied for 28^th at +14 (76-74-80 =230).

Freshman Joris Scharli tied for 39^th at +22 (84-75-79 =238).

Freshman Oliver Kardos was 46^th at +29 (76-88-81 =245).

Senior Karter Lein was 48^th at +32 (82-85-81 =248).

Briar Cliff 'B':
Freshman Jack Bloom tied for 44^th at +28 (85-79-80 =244).

Freshman Wongsakorn Fankumsai tied for 49^th at +33 (84-80-85 =249).

Freshman Braden Fleischman tied for 54^th at +38 (88-85-81 =254).

Sophomore Leon Pavon Olvera was 57^th at +43 (86-92-81 =259).

Senior Cade Pepper shot +41 (99-86).
