ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Senior Helene Getz Bergmo is in the top 10 as the Briar Cliff University women's golf team closed out Day 1 of the Siouxland Invite.

The tournament is being played at the Ridge Golf Club, a Par-72.

Doane shot +20 (308) and leads by seven strokes over #25 Morningside. Rounding out the top five are Northwestern (Iowa) (3^rd – 328, +40), Briar Cliff (4^th – 333, +45) and Dordt (5^th – 337, +49).

Individually, Lucy Brown (Morningside) shot +1 (73) and leads by two strokes over Sydney Streeter (Doane).

Getz Bergmo is tied for sixth at +7 (79). She leads the team with 13 pars.

Freshman Lucy Carter is tied for 17^th at +9 (81).

Senior Kelly Baade is tied for 22^nd at +12 (84).

Sophomore Emma Erickson is tied for 36^th at +17 (89).

Sophomore Olivia Sorlie is tied for 40^th at +18 (90).

Competing as an individual;

Senior Sophia Johnson is 47^th at +22 (94). She had a Hole-In-One on Hole No. 12, a Par 3 at 132 yards. This was Johnson's first ace.

Briar Cliff closes out the Siouxland Invite, Tuesday, Sept. 24.
