The Charger women's golf team finished fourth overall after round two of the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, South Dakota Friday.
Helene Getz Bergmo finished fifth overall in the tournament for the Chargers. Round two was played at the Hilcrest Golf and Country Club.

Getz Bergmo paced the Chargers with a +13 (79,78) at the meet. She recorded four birdies and 17 pars in the meet.

"Was very happy to see Helene start on top. Her driving and ball striking looked pretty good, but her putting showed confidence that may have been missing last year," said Head Coach
Ben Irlbeck. "I certainly look for her to challenge for the top spot in the conference this year."

Lucy Carter in her first meet for the Blue and Gold finished 20
th overall after recording a +25 (85,84).

Kelly Baade finished 25
th overall with a scorecard of +26(79,91).

"We will look to build the team up the next couple weeks and make a solid run this season!" said Irlbeck.

The Cliff will return to action on September 23, as they will travel to Orange City, Iowa to compete in the Women's Siouxland Invite.
