Briar Cliff Athletics announced its 2024 Hall of Fame Class and will induct three Chargers on February 24th at the half time of the men's basketball game. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony and lunch is sponsored by RBC Wealth Management, Kleis/Nelson Group. This year's class includes an All-American in Kelsey Evans (women’s basketball), the all-time assist leader in Shane Graves (men’s basketball), and Jared Bodammer, who dedicated over 20 years to serving Charger Athletics.

I am happy to announce the induction of Kelsey Evans, Shane Graves, and Jared Bodammer to the Briar Cliff Hall of Fame 2024. These individuals are very deserving of this honor for their contributions to Charger athletics

Shane Trophy
I'm really excited for Shane Graves to go into the Briar Cliff Hall of Fame. He was an incredible player who started almost every game he played here. He is the all-time assist leader, top-25 in scoring, but I think his impact goes so far beyond that. He is a part of a group that really helped build our culture, he was the point guard on a team that won two conference championships, three national tournaments, he had such an impact as a competitor, leader, and I couldn't be more happy for Shane on this well deserved honor.
Mark Svagera, Head Men's Basketball Coach

Bodammer dedicated 20 years to Charger athletics. Jared spent 12 years as the Director of Sports Information, coupled with four years as the Assistant Athletic Director and seven years as Associate Athletic Director, Director of Sports Media.

A graduate of 1998, Bodammer received the NAIA Clarence “Ike” Pearson award, given to the NAIA’s most outstanding Sports Media or Sports Information Director. He was also the Media and Statistics Director for the NAIA National Tournament for women’s basketball and women’s volleyball hosted in Sioux City. Bodammer is responsible for the design and implementation of the “Bolt” logo, a logo that is still used by all athletic teams.

Bodammer brought many quality-of-life enhancements to Charger Athletics, including the new website design, along with the relocation of the Briar Cliff Hall of Fame. He was also heavily involved in athletic fundraising.

Beyond his service in athletic administration, Bodammer was at the helm of Charger women’s soccer for seven seasons. He was also the director for intermural sports on campus, along with the promoter of “Blue Mondays”. Amongst his co-workers, he was also the organizer of “noonball”

Jared Bodammer is a guy when I first got to Briar Cliff welcomed me with open arms. For over 25 years, Jared served as an athlete, coach, administrator, had a direct or indirect impact on every single athlete. His list of accomplishments and duties are too long to list. It's well deserved, people in positions of SID or associate athletic director, don't always get the recognition they deserve. He bled Briar Cliff Blue and Gold over two decades and this is a well-deserved honor for Jared
