Adrianna Webster dropped 32 points and went 12-for-21 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds as the 23
rd ranked Charger women's basketball team blew past the Valley City State Vikings 86-51.

In the first quarter, the Cliff led by as many as 11 midway through the quarter after
Rachel Langel scored back-to-back baskets. The Vikings closed the gap within one possession late in the quarter.

A Webster basket near the end of the first quarter set her up for a big second quarter, scoring 12 points and shot six-for-10 from the field. She grabbed three rebounds and recorded one steal.
Mallie McNair added eight points in the quarter, shooting an efficient four-for-seven from the field. The Chargers outscored the Vikings 24-14 Â and led 43-23 heading into half time.

The Cliff continued to ride the hot hand, as Webster added another 12 points in the third quarter.

The Charger defense held the Vikings to 36% from the field and ran the Vikings off the three-point line. The Vikings were 15% from beyond the arc and committed 33 turnovers.

Kennedy Benne recorded a team high four assists while McNair scored 19 points while shooting eight-for-15 from the field. Langel finished the contest with eight points and six rebounds.

The Chargers improved to 2-0 on the season, and will travel to Davenport, Iowa to take on Saint Ambrose next Saturday. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
