th ranked women's basketball team blew past the Midland Warriors 88-48 in their conference opener Saturday afternoon.

Adrianna Webster led the way with 20 points and notched three steals while shooting eight-for-14 from the field.
Mallie McNair went five-for-seven from the field and added 12 points.

Grace Flanagan added 11 points with three triples while
Kenna Mongan added 12 points and going a perfect four-for-four with two threes in the contest.

After a close first quarter, The Chargers held the Warriors to two-for-11 from the field in the second. Webster caught fire in the second period, scoring eight points while shooting three-for-five in the quarter.

The Cliff started the quarter with a 13-0 run, with
Makenna Kleinhesselink knocking down a three during the stretch.

Taylor Sodeman and a layup by Malhia Kleinhesselink gave the Chargers their largest lead of the night at 42 late in the fourth quarter.

Briar Cliff moves to 4-0 (1-0 GPAC), and will return home Wednesday, as they host cross-town rival Morningside. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
