The Briar Cliff women's soccer played to a 0-0 draw with the GPAC leading Concordia Bulldogs on Faber Field Wednesday.

"Battled hard, fought until the end and came away with a good point from a top of the league team," said head coach Gabrielle Parks.
 
In a cold, windy and rainy game day it turned into a defensive heavy match. The Chargers took three shots and put all three on goal while holding Concordia to seven shots with five on frame. The Bulldogs held the advantage in corner kicks (11-1), but Charger keeper Jaime Rowlands was solid in net saving all five shots fired her way.
 
Hannah Shuttleworth led the Blue and Gold with two shots on goal and Sina Morl added one shot on net. Rowlands played all 90 minutes in net.
 
Kierstynn Garner and Savannah Andrews paced the Bulldogs with two shots on goal. Bradi Ore made three saves as she played all 90 minutes in net.
 
BC moves to 4-4-5 on the season and 3-3-4 in GPAC play. The Chargers host Midland for their next match on October 25 at 3:30 p.m. on Faber Field.
