Briar Cliff wrestling traveled to Orange City, Iowa Wednesday night to face Northwestern in GPAC dual action.The Chargers fell 27-9 to the Red Raiders and now hold a 3-2 GPAC dual record.
 
The match started at the 125-lbs weight class with Seth I'nama taking a 3-1 decision over Sean Heeney. The Red Raiders would take the next five weight classes, and won by fall at 133 and 165-lbs. 
 
In his first dual action of the season, Christian Balmer took a 4-3 decision over Jakob Francksen-Small, who is ranked second in the GPAC and 17th in the NAIA at 174-lbs. The Red Raiders took the 184 and 197-lbs. weight classes by a 9-2 and 7-4 decision. 

Alton Allen ended the night with a 7-3 win over Sam Vonnahme in the heavyweight class.
