Briar Cliff men's soccer traveled to Crete, Nebraska Wednesday and picked up a 3-0 win over Doane. The Cliff moves to 7-5 overall and are now 5-1 in GPAC play.

The Chargers held a 2-0 lead after the opening 45 minutes of play and had the advantage in shots 9-2 and corner kicks 3-0. Sebastian Justiniano put home the first of three Charger goals in the fourth minute of action. He was assisted by Michael Virgen and Bernardo Torres. In the 41st minute Vinicius Gregorio put the Cliff up two goals beating the Tiger keeper, assisted by Jacob Harvey. Gabriel Moretto scored the final goal for the Chargers, unassisted in the 67th minute.

Moretto and Gregorio paced the Chargers with two shots on goal apiece. Danny Baca took three shots and Thairy Hamadou had two. Leandro Faria recorded the shutout for the Cliff, making three saves.Â

Briar Cliff took 17 shots to Done's four and put six on frame compared to three for the Tigers. BC also held the edge in corner kicks 6-0. Andres Fallas allowed three goals in net for Doane and made three saves.
