Box Score Briar Cliff women's volleyball fell in straight sets at Hastings Saturday (14-25, 14-25, 22-25). 
 
Toria Andre paced the Chargers with nine kills on the night, while Chloe Johnson put down six. Andre added three blocks and had a hitting percentage of .368. 
 
"Toria and Chloe continued their solid play today," said head coach Lindsey Weatherford. "Toria is a strong force at the net, she is very reliable as a blocker and hitter!"
 
Jo Sadler led the Chargers with 11 digs and Tannah Heath added eight digs. Madilyn Wagaman dished out 10 assists and Maureen Imrie had nine.
 
Miriam Miller put down a game high eight kills on 11 attempts for a hitting percentage of .727. Grace Branson added seven K's. Makenna Asher and Jaisee Stinson both tallied 15 assists. Ireland Currey had 11 digs for the Broncos. 
 
Briar Cliff returns to the Newman Flanagan Center on Friday, October 15 as they host Concordia. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m. between the Chargers and Bulldogs.
