For the second time this season, the Briar Cliff men's volleyball team handled Morningside in straight sets, topping the Mustangs 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.
Kimo Rosa was a standout performer for the Cliff with seven kills on seven attacks for a perfect swinging percentage.
Brandon Oswald and
Riley Owen contributed 11 kills each to lead the team.
Kyle Cox and
Hunter Miller shared the setting duties, dishing out 22 and 16 assists, respectively. The Cliff registered a swing rate of .348 as a team and held Morningside to .198.Â
Rosa was also a key on defense for the Chargers, registering six blocks (five assisted, one solo) while libero
Noah Marasco-Ayau had 12 digs.Â
Kyron Earls was the lone Mustang to register double-digit kills as he finished the contest with 10.Â
The Cliff will be back in action Friday with matches against St. Louis College of Pharmacy and Missouri Baptist.Â
